Our story
Krino Church is a biblically rooted, Spirit-led, diverse church in Durham for people ready to follow Jesus and live it out.
Three commitments. Three convictions. One family. Whatever your story, there’s a seat for you.

to discern. to decide.
The name
At its root, krinō means to separate one thing from another. From there it grows into to distinguish, to discern, to judge and, finally, to decide.
That arc is the life of a disciple. We discern what is true, we decide to follow Jesus, and that decision distinguishes us: set apart in holiness and visible in witness.
It’s why our logo is a word with a line through it: the moment of decision, made visible. Faith is a line you choose to cross.
The Krino Way

Leadership
Krino Shepherd
Most people call him Zeek.
Zeek is a Durham native and a teacher of the Word. He has spent fourteen years serving inside local churches, in youth ministry, media, church systems and leadership, and he holds a BA in Theology and a Master of Divinity.
He planted Krino Church for people who want to hear God clearly and live it out with courage. He teaches Scripture plainly: this is what the text says, and here’s how we’re learning to live it.
He is writing his first book, Forward Not Finished.
